University of Illinois Springfield is one of three campuses of the world-class University of Illinois. UIS is known for educating public servants and leaders.
UIS English master’s student Lauren McPherson enjoys the summer weather while having lunch on the Legacy Campus quad. McPherson is working for International Student Services this summer. Summer Semester 2017 classes began on Monday, June 5th.
A group of 15 UIS students recently visited the Ancient Roman Colosseum in Italy as part of a 13-day study abroad trip to Rome and Malta. Students learned about the history of both countries and visited sites, such as The Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica. Learn more about studying abroad at UIS .
