The Village recently changed its policy for collecting brush at the curb-side. Crews will no longer chip entire trees. Please call the DPW at 626-4310 for information on how to dispose of branches from removed trees. Other brush placed at the curb-side for collection (for example: merely trimming a tree) should be placed in neat piles with cut ends facing the street. Music In The Park 2017

The Kewaskum Area Arts Council is presenting 5 free concerts for the summer of 2017. They are sponsored by Geidel’s Piggly Wiggly, The Kewaskum Firefighters’ Association, Kewaskum Kiwanis and the Kewaskum Women’s Club. The concerts are in the large shelter in Riverhill Park. The shelter has picnic table seating but you might want to bring a lawn chair because the concerts are well attended. Concessions start at 5:30 PM and the music begins at 6:30. The performers are:

June 20: The Whiskeybelles

July 11: Kewaskum Big Band

July 18: Big Cedar Bluegrass

July 25: The Sunrays

August 8: Good Time Dutchman

The D.P.W. Municipal Yard will resume Saturday hours on April 22. Starting April 22nd it will be open every Saturday from 10:00 A.M. to noon until it closes for the season in Autumn.

The Village of Kewaskum is located in southeastern Wisconsin in Washington County, 45 miles north of downtown Milwaukee and 20 miles south of Fond du Lac. Kewaskum is easily accessible, located at the intersection of USH 45 and STH 28. The Village of Kewaskum is known as the “Gateway to the Kettle Moraine State Forest” located along the banks of the Milwaukee River. The Village was founded in 1852. The Village was named for Chief Kewaskum, of the Potawatomi tribe.

The Village of Kewaskum offers an active main street, safe neighborhoods, friendly people and exceptional public and private schools.
